The Concreters prides itself on the relationship it creates between all members in the indigenous community and takes every opportunity to employ indigenous labour were possible.  We have worked within the Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council for the  past two and a half years, employing on average a 50% indigenous workforce and this percentage has been as high as 70%. This percentage rate has included truck drivers, plant operaters, carpenters and labourers.  In addition to local employment, on many occasions, the company has supplied labour and machinery to local clubs, charities, and individuals within communities at no cost. Where it has an ability to help communities, The Concreters will do so. We  also have sponsored local events and sports clubs and are currently the major sponsor for the Yarrabah Sea Hawks A grade rugby league team.
